TIFFIN, OH — A local business owner, landlord, and barber has been appointed to fill the vacant 4th Ward seat on Tiffin City Council.
Dan Perry, development manager with family business Perriott Rentals, barber at Champs Barber Shop, and owner of Tiffin Pedal Company, was selected by the Seneca County Republican Central Committee to fill the 4th Ward seat on council, after Councilman Rich Focht was sworn in as president of council following the death of Mark Hayes.
Perry is a 2006 Calvert High School graduate.
Mayor Montz said he looks forward to working with Perry as well as Bridget Boyle, who was selected to fill the 1st Ward vacancy despite her candidacy stirring up drama among local Republicans.
