Atlas Industries closes plants in Tiffin, Fremont, leaving over 150 without jobs

TIFFIN, OH — Workers at Atlas Industries in Tiffin and Fremont have been informed that their place of employment is closing, according to OhioMeansJobs.
Tiffin’s plant employed 60 people, and Fremont’s employed 110.
According to the Atlas Industries website, the company is a “world leading manufacturer of precision machined products specializing in crankshafts for engines, pumps and compressors.”
