Tiffin ‘cowboy bandit’ sentenced to jail on felony theft charges after stealing spree
TIFFIN, OH — A Tiffin man who pleaded guilty to going on a stealing spree months ago was sentenced to three additional months in jail on Friday.
According to court records, Kelby M. Fetro, 21, of Tiffin, pleaded guilty to charges of grand theft (fourth-degree felony) and receiving stolen property, a fifth-degree felony, in Seneca County Common Pleas Court Judge Michael Kelbley’s courtroom in June.
In Kelbley’s courtroom, Fetro also admitted he violated his community control in two other cases, where he had pleaded guilty to two counts of fifth-degree felony theft.
In addition to sentencing Fetro to serve an additional three months in jail, Kelbley also ordered Fetro to pay restitution to the victims.
