Man cited after being struck by car while walking in roadway

HANCOCK COUNTY, OH — Police say a Findlay man was cited and taken to the hospital with minor injuries after he was struck by a vehicle while walking in the roadway.

Findlay Police say Jessica Devooght, 37, of Findlay, was driving eastbound on SR 568 west of TR 234 in Marion Township when she hit Roger Pepple Jr., 23, of Findlay.

Pepple was walking in the middle of the eastbound roadway, according to police, and was cited for walking in a roadway after he was taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
