GREEN SPRINGS, OH — A Green Springs man has been sentenced to life in prison after being found guilty of sexually assaulting underage children.

Robert A. Stull, 37, of Green Springs, was charged in Sandusky County with 14 counts of first-degree felony rape, as well as three counts of felony gross sexual imposition.

According to the Sandusky County Clerk of Courts, a jury found Stull guilty of two counts of rape, and two counts of gross sexual imposition. It was noted that the victim in each case was under 10 years old.

Stull was found not guilty of the other 12 counts of rape and one count of gross sexual imposition.

Stull was sentenced to life in prison with no parole. According to court records, he will serve his mandatory life sentence alongside an additional five year sentence for each gross sexual imposition count.

The charges stemmed from an incident involving four underage children, according to the Tiffin Police Department, who had received the report of a sexual assault of a teenage girl allegedly by Stull on Water Street in Tiffin.

Stull will also be registered as a Tier 3 sex offender, and he was appointed an attorney for potential appeal, according to court records.
