Police: Investigation underway after body pulled from Ohio River

A body was recovered from the Ohio River on Sunday, according to the Kentucky State Police.

Troopers said the call came in around 1 PM, with a person reporting a body in the river near Milton, which is in Trimble County. Officials say the call came in from a boater who saw the body while on the water.

Kentucky State Police officers responded and recovered the body from the river.

According to the troopers, the body was taken to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office for an autopsy.
