Montz: ‘Please take shelter immediately’ due to tornado warning
TIFFIN, OH (TiffinOhio.net News) — Mayor Aaron Montz shared a weather update with his social media followers Sunday evening, warning them to “please take shelter immediately.”
“The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado WARNING for Seneca County until 7:45pm. Please take shelter immediately,” Montz said.
At 7:19 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Fostoria, moving southeast at 25 mph.
The warning expired at 7:45 PM on Sunday, but more severe weather could be on the way. Stay tuned to our Facebook page for more updates.
