Mayor Montz tours future Planet Fitness location in Tiffin, shares insider information
TIFFIN, OH (TiffinOhio.net News) — Mayor Aaron Montz announced on Monday that he took a tour of the future Planet Fitness location in Tiffin, and provided insider knowledge about the 24-hour-gym which is slated to open later this year…
“Toured the future Planet Fitness location in Tiffin this afternoon,” Montz said in a tweet on Monday.
This will be the eighth facility for franchise owner Mark Christie. He said he has been looking at Tiffin for a two to three years, waiting on the right space. “We are very excited to come to the Tiffin market and provide a low price, high value option for community members to get into fitness,” Christie said.
“Best guess for the opening of the facility will be November of this year based on conversations with those on site,” Montz said in his tweet on Monday.
“This is the fourth announcement for the Tiffin Mall site since it was purchased nearly two years ago and things are not slowing down. I am pleased to welcome Planet Fitness and look forward to continued development in our commercial corridor,” Montz said in a previous statement.
