TIFFIN, OH (TiffinOhio.net News) — The Tiffin Drive-In Theater, which has been ranked as one of the best in Ohio, is celebrating its 70-year anniversary on Saturday, June 8.
Tiffin Drive-In will have an Anniversary Celebration Event featuring a Live DJ, raffles, games, car show, plus they partnered with the Seneca County Humane Society to bring out some adoptable pets. Gate opens at 7:00 pm. Movies to follow.
The Tiffin Drive-In Theater is a family friendly, two screen Drive-In movie theater that offers first-run movies, and double features for the price of one, on each screen. Concessions include items like freshly popped popcorn, movie theater size candy, ice cold Coca Cola products, and even pizza delivered to your vehicle.
There are many free games to enjoy before the movies that include Putt-Putt golf, cornhole and more. Showtimes begin at dusk, but the gate opens at 7:30 pm to allow guests to arrive early and play free games.

The Tiffin Drive-In Theater was built in 1949 and opened June 10th. The Saunders purchased it in 2011, they also own the Field of Dreams Drive-Theater in Liberty Center and Bryan Theatre in Bryan.
The Saunders have made many renovations to the Drive-In. They added the second screen, new countertops for the concession stand with a new menu. They now have digital projection. You must stop out to see all the changes.
They plan to restore the neon sign on the back of the big screen; this should bring back memories for all. There are events throughout the year like car shows, a Jack-O-Lantern festival and videogame tournaments.
