Police offering cash reward for information on armed robbery suspect
FINDLAY, OH (TiffinOhio.net News) — Police are now on the hunt for a man accused of robbing the Exxon gas station on Fostoria Avenue in Findlay on Monday morning.
The Findlay Police reports that the man, Kip Allen Wright, 21, of Findlay, walked into the store just before 7 a.m. and demanded cash from the register. He had a handgun and reportedly “struck the employee in the face with it.”
Sources tell TiffinOhio.net the employee gave the man some cash from the register and he fled west behind some nearby apartments.
Police report that Wright was wearing a brown short-sleeved shirt and a ball cap. He also had a red bandanna covering his face.
Hancock County EMS treated the employee at the scene.
This is the third robbery involving a man in a bandana in the past two weeks.
