Out-of-state man arrested in Findlay, Ohio for allegedly trying to abduct women

FINDLAY, OH (TiffinOhio.net News) — According to information from the Hancock County Jail, an out-of-state man was arrested Friday for abduction after he allegedly tried to “pull women into his truck.”

Jeff Moreno, 34, was arrested and charged with abduction, a felony; and driving under suspension, revocation, or restriction, a misdemeanor. Moreno was booked into Hancock County Jail on Friday.

A source tells TiffinOhio.net News that before Moreno came to Ohio, he most recently resided in Louisiana, and originated from the Los Angeles area.

According to a viral Facebook post from a woman with info on the situation, “[the man] started at Mr. Twisters, went to Archie’s, and somewhere on George Street. He tried pulling women into his truck,” they said.

“He was found with duct tape and a mask in his car. Everyone please be careful!,” the now-viral Facebook post states.

“This world is full of evil, I’m terrified,” the woman said.
