Medical malpractice lawsuit against Tiffin’s Autumnwood Care Center settled
TIFFIN, OH (TiffinOhio.net News) — A medical malpractice lawsuit filed over a year ago on behalf of Tiffin resident Carmella Price against Autumnwood Care Center and Volunteers of America care facilities has been dismissed.
The lawsuit against the care facilities initially sought more than $25,000 for the malpractice claims.
Harold Price, the husband of Ms. Price, was a resident of Autumnwood Care Center, where he allegedly suffered injuries, mental anguish, emotional distress, and physical pain, “including a fracture in a cervical vertebra.” Mr. Price later died, according to the lawsuit records.
Price appears to have settled the case with Autumnwood and Volunteers of America outside of court.
