Holly Stacy announces resignation from Seneca County Commissioner position
TIFFIN, OH (TiffinOhio.net) — Seneca County Commissioner Holly M. Stacy (R) announced her resignation on Thursday.
“It is with a grateful heart and my humble character, and with the grace of God, that I stand here today to tenure my seat on the Seneca County Board of Commissioners,” Stacy said in a letter dated Thursday.
“It has been a privilege to serve the citizens of Seneca County as a Commissioner. It’s been a learning experience, and an opportunity to be a public servant and make a positive difference in many things. It’s been my honor to represent Seneca County and serve with my fellow elected leaders,” Stacy continued.
Despite speculation that Stacy might be taking a position with a wind company, she has confirmed to a source that she is not doing so.
“Civility doesn’t have to be a thing of the past. We don’t have to look for gain at someone else’s expense. Instead show some respect, earn it by being honest and true to yourself and try living under the concept that ‘most people are good’,” Stacy said in the ending of her letter.
This is a developing story.
