Findlay man accused of armed robbery CAPTURED by police
FINDLAY, OH (TiffinOhio.net News) — Police have confirmed that they have captured the man wanted for robbing a Findlay convenience store.
The Findlay Police reports that the man, Kip Allen Wright, 21, of Findlay, walked into the store just before 7 a.m. and demanded cash from the register. He brandished a handgun and demanded that the employee working give him all the money.
Before the employee could do so, Wright allegedly struck the employee in the face. The employee made it to the register and turned over an undisclosed amount of money to Wright. Wright then fled the business, according to police.
Hancock County EMS treated the employee at the scene.
This is the third robbery involving a man in a bandana in the past two weeks.
