Annual community bulk curbside pickup begins this week in Tiffin: Here’s what you need to know
TIFFIN, OH (TiffinOhio.net News) – Rumpke Waste & Recycling will conduct the annual free week of community bulk curbside pickup during the week of June 10-14.
This service is available to residents living within the city limits of Tiffin who have active residential accounts with Rumpke.
Rumpke will collect up to five bulk items per household that are placed at the curb no more than 18 hours prior to your regularly scheduled pickup day.
Items that will be accepted include:
- Appliances (must be free of CFCs and tagged accordingly by a certified technician).
- Furniture, mattresses, carpet and other bulk items (upholstered items must be wrapped and sealed in plastic).
Materials that will NOT be collected include:
- Car parts.
- Batteries.
- Ashes.
- Dead animals.
- 35- or 55-gallon drums or cans containing hazardous liquids (including paint).
- Any objects weighing more than 75 pounds.
