FOSTORIA, OH — According to court records, a Fostoria man has pleaded guilty to sex-related crimes involving two teenage girls.

Brandon C. Lane, 21, of Fostoria, was charged with two counts of felony sexual battery and two counts of felony unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. Authorities say Lane is a manager at the McDonald’s restaurant in Fostoria, where the two 14-year-old girls, who are the alleged victims, are employed.

On Monday, Lane pleaded guilty to two counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, both fourth-degree felonies, in Seneca County Common Pleas Court Judge Steve Shuff’s courtroom.

The Fostoria city prosecutor’s office says Lane got the two 14-year-old girls to his apartment at 816 N. Union St. in Fostoria and provided them with alcohol before the sex acts.

The case has been referred for a pre-sentence report, where the parties will decide which punishment is best for Lane.

Lane would be classified as a Tier II sex offender and would have to register twice annually for 25 years. He would not be able to establish a residence within 1,000 feet of a school or childcare center.
