TIFFIN, OH — The Tiffin Pat Catan’s store will close as will the other 35 store in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan and West Virginia.

Back in 2016, Pat Catan’s parent company Lamrite West, Inc was acquired by The Micheal’s Companies, Inc. Michaels initially said it will reopen at least 12 of the 36 stores under the Michael’s name.

“After carefully reviewing a number of factors we have decided that this location is not a viable go-forward location for us. We greatly appreciate the support the Tiffin community has given the Pat Catan’s team, and I know our Pat Catan’s team has enjoyed serving them,” said Mallory Smith, manager of public relations for Michaels, in an email this week.

Michael’s owns and operates more than 1200 stores in 49 states and Canada. They are the largest specialty provider of arts, crafts, framing and floral supplies in North America.
