Dozens volunteer to rake leaves, clean up Oakley Park in Tiffin

TIFFIN, OH — Over 60 people volunteered to help clean up Oakley Park for warmer weather on Saturday morning.
The volunteers removed more than 100 truck loads of leaves from the park. Cindy Jordan organized the effort among neighbors and friends, where they raked leaves, picked up sticks, and generally cleaned and beautified the park.
According to the Advertiser-Tribune, they were treated to a hot dog lunch donated and served by other volunteers. Tiffin Park & Recreation Director Bryce Kuhn said, “It’s great to know that we have such great citizens who care about our parks. It’s people like you all who make Tiffin a great place to live.”
