Tiffin man says white van approached daughter, offered candy on way to school

TIFFIN, OH — A Facebook post on Monday from a Tiffin man has gone viral as a warning to parents in the area.
The man, whose name we have concealed, says his daughter was walking to Noble Elementary School on Monday when she was stopped by a white van across the street.
The man’s daughter told him the person in the van asked if she “wanted candy,” but the daughter refused and is safe, according to the father.
“I already contacted the police,” but just wanted to give everyone a heads up, the man said.
No further details were available as of Monday evening. This is a developing story.
