Findlay bar owner caught on viral video slamming, choking female employee Staff

FINDLAY, OH ( — The owner of a Findlay bar is under intense scrutiny after a video that shows him fighting with, and then attacking a female employee, has gone viral.

The man identified as Dale Suter, the owner of The Walnut Saloon in Findlay, is seen in the viral video arguing with the bartender in a profanity-laced back-and-forth. After repeatedly telling the employee to “shut up,” the employee responded by telling Suter to “shut the f**k up,” which prompted Suter to walk behind the bar.

Once behind the bar, Suter is seen placing his hands on the victim’s neck and slamming her into the bar. Police say Suter was arrested Thursday and charged with assault in connection to the video.

Suter is set to appear in court March 13. The Walnut Saloon has reportedly received several threats after the video went viral, which police are also investigating.

This is a developing story.
