Humane Society of Seneca County receives grant to continue operations
TIFFIN, OH — According to a spokesperson, The Humane Society of Seneca County announced Thursday that it has been named the recipient of the Robert G. Teach Foundation Grant.
The Humane Society, which receives no regular funding from the state, county, or city in any way, relies on grants and other donations to continue its operations.
“The Humane Society of Seneca County is pleased to announce that we were the recipient of a Robert G. Teach Foundation Grant. The grant will assist in the continuing operation of our facility. We cannot thank them enough; as we are not funded by the state or city in any way. Our facility runs strictly on donations and or grants and events,” the press release stated.
