Tiffin woman cited after hitting school bus, leaving scene

TIFFIN, OH — According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a Tiffin woman has turned herself into authorities after they received a report of an incident involving a Clyde-Green Springs school district bus.

Ruth J. Goodwin-Gray, 89, of Tiffin, was cited with failure to yield and hit-skip, according to OSHP.

The bus was reportedly full of children during the time of the incident. The crash happened on State Route 101 at County Road 175 in Green Creek TOwnship around 4 PM on Monday.

One student was taken to the hospital to be examined, while no one else was injured and all other students were dropped off at their homes as scheduled.
