Tiffin Police: Two arrested after motel room search unveils drugs
TIFFIN, OH — On Tuesday, November 13th, 2018, the Seneca County Drug Task Force-METRICH Enforcement Unit, along with additional Officers from the Tiffin Police Department & Seneca County Sheriff’s Office executed a drug related search warrant on a motel room located at 315 W. Market Street, Room #27, Tiffin, Seneca County, Ohio.
That being the room of John Churella, 44 YOA, (Tiffin, Ohio), Kristen L. Rowland, 43 YOA, (Tiffin, Ohio) & Da’Marquse De’Jon Jackson, 21 YOA (Detroit, MI).
The search warrant signed by Judge Mark Repp of the Tiffin-Fostoria Municipal Court unveiled suspected Crack Cocaine, suspected Heroin, US Currency, Criminal Tools & evidence indicative to Drug Trafficking.
Arrested were Da’Marquse De’Jon Jackson, 21 YOA (Detroit, MI) on charges of Trafficking Crack Cocaine, a Felony of the 5th Degree and Trafficking Heroin, a Felony of the Fourth Degree. John Churella for Permitting Drug Abuse, a Felony of the Fifth Degree. Both are presently being held at the Seneca County Correctional Facility.
Additional charges of Trafficking Crack Cocaine & Possession of Criminal Tools are all pending on Jackson along with additional charges of Possession of Crack Cocaine on both Churella & Rowland upon the conclusion of the entire drug investigation & the return of the lab analysis of the substances discovered inside the room at the time of the execution of the search warrant.
