TIFFIN, OH — Despite their best efforts, the Tiffin Columbian Tornadoes varsity football team lost to Anthony Wayne on Friday with a final score of 31-14.
The Anthony Wayne Generals are now 2-0 for the season while the Tornadoes slip to 1-1.
Tornadoes players and coaches are still confident for the rest of the reason, citing the crushing of Elida last Friday. Some Anthony-Wayne coaches even complimented the Tornadoes, saying they look “much better” than they did during the team’s winless season last year.
