Humane Society of Seneca County offers cat spay & neuter program
TIFFIN, OH — The Humane Society of Seneca County announced this week that it will begin offering a cat spay & neuter program. Prior to its announcement, the closest place to get a cat spayed/neutered was in Upper Sandusky.
“We are very pleased to announce the start of our new low cost cat spay and neuter program! For now, we will be holding our low cost spay and neuter clinics once a month,” a Humane Society spokesperson said.
“Due to our limited staffing, we are currently only accepting cats. Male cats are $40 and females are $60. Our first available date will be September 26th. Please call or come in to the shelter to make an appointment!”
You are responsible for bringing the cat in a cat carrier. Feral cats will also be accepted by the Humane Society, but they must be brought in live traps rather than traditional carriers.
