Heritage Festival kicks off with hundreds of students at school days program
TIFFIN, OH — The annual Tiffin-Seneca County Heritage Festival kicked off Friday with the School Days Program, where over 450 students from 9 area schools attended.
Tiffin Mayor Aaron Montz attended the program and shared his thoughts via Facebook:
“I spent the morning at Hedges Boyer Park as part of the Tiffin Seneca Heritage Festival School Days program. More than 450 students from 9 schools attended this year’s living history village at Hedges Boyer Park to learn about the history of our Nation and Seneca County from Colonial times through the American Civil War,” Montz said.
“This is a priceless experience for the youth in Seneca County to better understand what primitive life was like many years ago,” he continued.
