FINDLAY, OH — Less than 24 hours before the first Findlay Chick-fil-A opens, more than 30 people have gathered to take part in a unique grand opening Road Trip, hoping to win free Chick-fil-A for a year after a day of service and activities around the city.

The community promotion is open to people age 18 and older with ID living in specific zip codes surrounding the restaurant. 44883 (Tiffin & surrounding area) is included in the eligible zip codes. Registration will continue at the restaurant until 8 a.m. or until 100 are reached, whichever is sooner.

Participants will enjoy a Chick-fil-A breakfast followed  before boarding buses for a day of service and fun. They will return to the restaurant at 1931 Tiffin Ave., Findlay, for an outdoor party before receiving their prizes – free Chick-fil-A for year – about 4 p.m.

Chick-fil-A Operator Paul Hadde is excited to serve the Findlay Community soon.

“As a part of our welcome to you, we would like to invite residents from the following zip codes to come and be a part of our opening celebration and participate in the First 100 Road Trip,” Hadde said.

“This activation consists of physical outdoor labor. We kindly ask that you please consider attire to be comfortable and casual as your clothes may get soiled. Please bring new and gently used children’s books for our book drive,” a spokesperson for the company said.

This restaurant opens on September 6, 2018. The First 100 promotion registration will begin at 6:00am on September 5, 2018.
