Inmate at Seneca County Jail injured after jumping over rail
TIFFIN, OH — An unnamed inmate at the Seneca County Jail in Tiffin was reportedly injured Sunday afternoon.
According to a statement from the sheriff’s office, the man voluntarily jumped over a railing on the second-tier of the jail. The spokesperson told TiffinOhio.net the man had only been at the facility for “a little over a week.”
The man was transported to Tiffin Mercy Hospital after sustaining injuries. The man’s name has not been released the sheriff’s office.
