Crocs to close all manufacturing plants

According to an announcement from the company this week, Crocs is closing its remaining manufacturing plants.
In addition to the closures, the company’s chief financial officer is resigning next year, making the future of the company uncertain.
“In connection with ongoing efforts to simplify the business and improve profitability, during the second quarter, the Company closed its manufacturing facility in Mexico and moved ahead with plans to close its last manufacturing facility, which is located in Italy,” Crocs, Inc. said.
Although the plants are closing, Crocs President and CEO says the clogs and sandals “continue to perform well.” However, the company hasn’t said how it is going to handle future production of the comfy shoes.
