Woman accused of stealing from local Girl Scouts troop
TIFFIN, OH — According to court records, a Huron County woman has been accused of theft of money from Girl Scout Troop No. 51122.
A Seneca County grand jury indicted Sara J. Beebe, 49, of North Fairfield, on a charge of theft, a fifth-degree felony, court records state.
The theft allegedly involved at least $1,000 in funds from 2015 through May 2017 in Seneca County, according to the indictment provided by the courts.
Girl Scouts of the United States of America, commonly referred to as simply Girl Scouts, is a youth organization for girls in the United States and American girls living abroad.
