Tiffin man charged after assaulting girlfriend’s grandmother
TIFFIN, OH — According to public records, a Tiffin man was charged with disorderly conduct Tuesday afternoon after a confrontation was reported in Hopewell Township.
John Schaffer, 22, of Tiffin, was charged.
There was allegedly a verbal confrontation between Schaffer and his girlfriend’s grandmother, which eventually resulted in Schaffer pushing the woman to the ground and leaving the property, according to a source familiar with the situation.
Schaffer was later stopped by a deputy on Miami Street and arrested. The woman’s injuries were non-life-threatening, according to reports.
