National Weather Service:

Widespread rain in the morning will give way to severe storms that are expected to develop late Tuesday afternoon into early Tuesday night as a strong cold front moves in from the west.

What to expect:

Widespread strong to severe storms along a cold front late Tuesday afternoon through ~ 11 PM Tuesday night. (see attached graphic for severe threat)

Main hazards will be damaging winds and tornadoes.
Chance of a few storms could develop well out ahead of the front during the mid afternoon, but confidence in this occurring is low.

A rough timing estimate of when to expect the cold front follows. Confidence in the timing will increase as the event draws closer. The sooner the storms arrive, the better the chance for severe weather.

7-9 PM along the I-75 corridor
9-11 PM along a line from near Cleveland to Mansfield.
After 11 PM the line of storms will continue moving east, but the severe threat will rapidly diminish.
