It’s pothole season in Ohio. Where are the worst in Tiffin?
TIFFIN, OH – Starting to see busted pavement and craters opening up in many roadways? You can thank the recent deep freeze cycle, which brought subzero windchills and temps to our area for a few weeks, and then the subsequent warmup we’re still somewhat experiencing right now, which kickstarts the freeze-thaw cycle in many Ohio roadways.
The Ohio Department of Transportation may be doing much of the repair work on highways, but what about our city roads? Remember, voters turned down a tax levy that would’ve helped fund our roads, bridges, and other infrastructure – an opportunity that could’ve attracted more businesses to our area as well. However, another levy is being explored by council.
