Montz: Hohman a negotiator, laid groundwork for growth
TIFFIN, OH — During a ceremony on Thursday, Mayor Aaron Montz (R-Tiffin) proclaimed the Rebecca Street Bridge near Heidelberg University as the Bernard J. Hohman Bridge, dedicating former Mayor Hohman (D-Tiffin) who served the city in that capacity for 12 years.
Montz said in an interview with WTOL that during Hohman’s time as mayor, he “negotiated a lot of deals that were able to keep hostility low, and lay groundwork for future expansion and growth for the city.”
The current mayor also touted Hohman’s ability to do all of these great things for the area while “not harming the townships.”
