Autumnwood Care Center sued by woman for malpractice
TIFFIN — According to court records from the Seneca County Common Pleas Court, a medical malpractice lawsuit was filed this week on behalf of Tiffin resident Carmella Price against Autumnwood Care Center and Volunteers of America care facilities.
The lawsuit against the care facilities seeks more than $25,000 for the malpractice claims.
Harold Price, the husband of Ms. Price, was a resident of Autumnwood Care Center, where he allegedly suffered injuries, mental anguish, emotional distress, and physical pain, “including a fracture in a cervical vertebra.” Mr. Price later died, according to the lawsuit records.
Autumnwood Care Center’s legal department could not be reached for comment.
