Tiffin Bark Park reopens after canine influenza worries
TIFFIN – The Tiffin Bark Park has reopened after worries of a canine flu outbreak.
According to a statement from Dr. Jamie Pursell, Medical Director for the Tiffin Bark Park in a post on the park’s official Facebook page, “We have not had any new cases since the beginning of the month. We are now making it mandatory for your dog to be vaccinated for canine Bordetella (kennel cough) and we strongly recommend that your dog be vaccinated for Canine Influenza.”
The new policy is effective immediately.
“Please do not bring your dog to the park if it is coughing or has been exposed to a coughing dog. Let’s all work together to keep the park a healthy and happy play place for our dogs,” Pursell added.
