Three arrested, drug-related warrants executed




According to a press release, on Tuesday, November 28, 2017, officers from the Tiffin Police Department & Agents from the Seneca County Drug Task Force – METRICH Enforcement Unit executed a drug related search warrant on a residence located at 382 South Washington Street, Apt. B, Tiffin, Seneca County, Ohio after making several arrests related to a Robbery (home entry) on Virginia Avenue, Tiffin, Ohio.

On Wednesday, November 22 2017, the Tiffin Police Department received a report of an alleged Robbery (home entry) which occurred at a residence on Virginia Avenue, Tiffin, Ohio. The victim reported that four males had forcibly entered into his residence, assaulting him while his children were home. After the alleged assault, the suspects fled the residence taking cash & other additional property from the residence.

Ofc. Eric D. Aller, Tiffin Police Department took the initial report and continued his investigation & was able to develop suspects in the alleged Robbery investigation, which in turn resulted in today’s arrests of two Tiffin residents & one Detroit, MI resident.

A subsequent drug related search warrant was pursued & executed on the residence at 382 South Washington Street, Tiffin, Seneca County, Ohio.

The search warrant signed by Judge Mark Repp of the Tiffin – Fostoria Municipal Court unveiled suspected Crack Cocaine, Marijuana, Drug paraphernalia, Criminal Tools & other additional items indicative to Drug Trafficking from the residence.

Arrested were:

NICHOLAS ROBERT-EARL BUTLER, AKA: “BISHOP”, 28 YOA, Clinton Township, Michigan for Trafficking Crack Cocaine in the vicinity of a school & Robbery

ZACHARY THOMAS NEFF, 24 YOA, Tiffin, Ohio for Complicity to Robbery

MEAGON CAPRI LEIGH JONAS, 27 YOA, Tiffin, Ohio for Complicity to Trafficking in Crack Cocaine in the vicinity of a school.

Additional charges of Trafficking Crack Cocaine, Possession of Criminal Tools, Permitting Drug Abuse & Robbery are all pending on additional suspects, upon the completion of lab analysis on the substance discovered inside the residence & in conclusion with the entire ongoing investigation.

“Our Officers investigating the alleged Robbery complaint were able to develop viable suspects to the incident. Additional leads & corroborating information then led to the arrests of the suspects and a subsequent drug related search warrant on a Tiffin residence. This is an on-going investigation and once additional suspects are identified, other arrests connected to the Robbery will be made.

I credit the tenacity and hard work on all the officers involved in investigating this case.
