Reports of widespread damage throughout Tiffin’s south end

TIFFIN – There are reports of widespread damage throughout the south end of Tiffin, according to Mayor Aaron D. Montz’s office.

“We currently have all hands on deck but are struggling to keep up with calls,” the Mayor said.

The city noted that they are prioritizing emergency calls and will respond as enough manpower becomes available. Tree limbs and power lines are down throughout the city and there are reports of heavily damaged buildings as well.

Thousands of area residents are still without power after tonight’s storms. Again, the majority of the impact from tonight’s storms was on the south end of Tiffin and its outskirts.
