FOSTORIA — According to the Fostoria Police Department, a possible overdose was reported Tuesday morning at 333 W. South St.
The police report states that a person called 911 at 11:09 AM to report a 40-year-old who was possibly overdosing and in need of an ambulance.
Experts say the drug, alcohol, and suicide death rate in Ohio could soar by 47 percent in the coming decade. Drug overdoses make up about two-thirds of the drug, alcohol, and suicide death rate in Ohio. A total of 4,050 drug overdose deaths, largely from opioids, occurred in Ohio last year.
