Poe snatches most endorsements in Bettsville village council race

Arguably one of the most well-known members of Bettsville’s 6-member village council, Stan Poe, who is running for re-election in the 2017 general election, has earned yet another endorsement from an area media outlet, Seneca County News. This announcement makes Poe the most-heavily endorsed candidate in the race.

Poe is often seen as a “Trump-like” figure in the village government, not caring about being “politically correct” and campaigning on issues that matter to many Bettsville residents. Many village residents see him as someone who fights for the public’s interests, including issues like re-opening H.P. Eells Bettsville Park for swimming in the quarry, a once-fun activity for Bettsville-area residents, now closed, with Poe being one of the few members of council looking to pay attention to the issue.
